Founded in 2006, cult Japanese brand Suicoke had incongruous beginnings, producing small accessories and hand-painted Russian dolls prior to their transition into footwear. Initially distributed exclusively in Japan, the label has since gained international praise thanks to multiple collaborations and an ever-evolving style profile. Fusing bold, contemporary forms with pared-back functionality, geometrically-inspired sandals project a sense of creative freedom that refuses to be constrained by genre. The brand’s collection of high-performance men’s footwear remains ahead of the global curve with versatile combinations of technical materials: multi-strap styles feature durable Vibram outsoles, while rugged neoprene and nylon canvas lend utilitarian appeal to oversized single-strap designs. An appealing range of colorways ensures that they complement an array of personal styles, confirming their status as wardrobe workhorses.
