Vintage 1940s Wool Feather Tilt Fascinator Hat, Tilt Topper 。What a stunning piece of millinery fashions from the fabulous 1940s\'! The toque is made of beautiful chocolate brown felt, and it consists of a medium height cap which is surrounded by a band of intricate topstitching. The bands criss cross at the back, and secure a gold color ring at each side. There is also topstitching on the cap running vertically at the back sides. There is a blue feather puff emerging from the center back, plus a tall, curled black feather quill. There is an elastic band attached to the inside of the hat to help keep it in place. Simply gorgeous. A toque is small cap or bonnet having a narrow brim or no brim at all. Toques were popular from the 13th to the 16th century in Europe, especially France.
