This two-piece interlocking buckle features dramatic nautilus shell–inspired forms with high-polish convex gold-tone surfaces. The flowing, dimensional curves and substantial construction are characteristic of Mimi di N’s sculptural modernist style, designed to be a strong focal point at the waist. Originally made to attach to a wide leather or fabric belt, this hardware embodies classic 1980s fashion — powerful, artistic and architectural in form. ✨ Details • Signed Mimi di N • Dated 1983 • Two-piece belt buckle set • Nautilus shell–inspired sculptural design • Gold-tone plated metal • Substantial weight and quality construction Please see photos for scale.
